The following are Occupational Health Branch (OHB) investigations and reports:
In six incidents,
seventeen flight attendants became ill (PDF)
after exposure to pesticides used inside an aircraft.
Lab workers at a cell biology research company became ill (PDF)
after a co-worker heated paraformaldehyde to disinfect a cell culture room and the gas permeated their worksites.
Pesticide exposure at schools
produces acute illnesses among school employees and students.
Retail workers employed in farm supply and hardware stores
had elevated rates of pesticide poisoning.
Pesticides used on bedbugs (PDF, 1.6 MB)
caused illness in workers and others.
