The Genetic Disease Laboratory conducts a statewide program of adult, prenatal and newborn testing of persons for detection of genetic diseases in support of the clinical initiatives of the Genetic Disease Branch. The mission of the Genetic Disease Laboratory is to ensure that these tests are reliable, accurate and cost-effective.
