× The federal government has shut down due to the failures of the President and Congress to continue government funding. Millions of Californians receiving benefits from state programs may be impacted. For now, California’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) will continue to provide services and enroll eligible families as long as funding is available. No new federal funding to California WIC will be provided until the President and Congress take action. Families should continue to use their WIC benefits and attend their WIC appointments. This information is subject to change, so please monitor the California WIC website for updates.

All Facilities Letter (AFL) Summary

This AFL notifies facilities that the Center for Health Care Quality (CHCQ) is seeking input from interested stakeholders in amending Title 22 California Code of Regulations specific to GACH coronary care service, dental service, intensive care service, distinct part intermediate care service, and distinct part skilled nursing service.

CHCQ is seeking input from interested stakeholders as part of the regulation development process to ensure proposed regulations are consistent with other laws and regulations, modern hospital practices, and other relevant standards. These GACH regulations include the following sections:

  • Coronary Care Service: sections 70461-70469
  • Dental Service: sections 70471-70479
  • Intensive Care Service: sections 70491-70499
  • Distinct Part Intermediate Care Service: sections 70501-70503
  • Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Service: sections 70625-70627

Instructions for Submitting Written Comments

Please submit your written comments by November 11, 2021 using the Written Comments for Regulations Specific to Coronary Care Service, Dental Service, Intensive Care Service, Distinct Part Intermediate Care Service, and Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Service Survey.
