Millions of Californians receiving benefits from state programs may be impacted. Mission Statement

The California STD/HIV Controllers Association (CSHCA), an affiliate of the California Conference of Local Health Officers (CCLHO), is dedicated to the prevention and control of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV through ensuring access to clinical services, monitoring disease trends, providing community education, finding and treating infected individuals and their partners, improving the quality and scope of STD and HIV health programs, promoting policy based on evidence and best practices, and serving in an advisory capacity to its membership and as a resource to the CCLHO, the California Department of Public Health, statewide coalitions, community-based agencies, and other organizations. Our members are STD and HIV program directors and disease controllers serving California's sixty-one local health jurisdictions.
