  • Health in All Policies (HiAP) ā€“ The Health in All Policies program works with more than 20 state agencies and departments to develop innovative solutions that create healthy places to live, work, learn, and play. 
  • Prevention Institute - Prevention Institute is a nonprofit organization that synthesizes research and practice; develops prevention tools and frameworks; designs and guides inter-sectoral partnerships; and provides training, technical assistance, and strategy development to promote innovative community-oriented solutions, better government and business practices, and policy change.
  • The California Endowment ā€“ The California Endowment's mission is to expand access to affordable, quality health care for underserved individuals and communities and to promote fundamental improvements in the health status of all Californians.
  • Futures Without Violence - FUTURES provides groundbreaking programs, policies, and campaigns that empower individuals and organizations working to end violence against women and children around the world.
  • UC Davis Violence Prevention Research Program - The UC Davis Violence Prevention Research Program (VPRP) is a multi-disciplinary program of research and policy development focused on the causes, consequences, and prevention of violence.  VPRP places a particular focus on firearm violence, and on the connections between violence, substance abuse, and mental illness.

National Violence Prevention Organizations

  • CDC's Veto Violence ā€“ Veto Violence is a comprehensive tool for violence prevention created by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  Veto Violence is a place to find comprehensive training, tips, and tools needed to launch or enhance local prevention efforts.
  • Safe States Alliance - The Safe States Alliance is a non-profit organization and professional association whose mission is to strengthen the practice of injury and violence prevention.
