Millions of Californians receiving benefits from state programs may be impacted. For now, California’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) will continue to provide services and enroll eligible families as long as funding is available. What shots does my preteen or adolescent need?

As parents, we can't be near our children every minute. Immunizing our children is one thing we can do to protect their health for years to come. In addition to getting our children immunized against COVID-19, our preteens and teens need to be immunized at these ages:

Age	Your child should get their shots
11-12 Years	Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis Human Papillomavirus (as early as age 9) Meningococcal (groups ACWY) Seasonal Flu COVID-19
16 Years	Meningococcal (groups ACWY) Meningococcal (group B) Seasonal Flu COVID-19
