Storytelling is a powerful tool. It educates, builds support and humanizes public health efforts by showcasing real people benefiting from real programs. Digital storytelling, in particular, builds on the popularity of social media and video sharing platforms – sources people increasingly go to for information. The MCAH Communications & Outreach Unit partners with our programs throughout the state to produce impactful stories for sharing locally, throughout California and beyond.
