The State has developed the Quality Accountability Program for Skilled Nursing Facilities. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is partnering with California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to implement this new program. CDPH's Center for Health Care Quality is assessing and scoring facility quality of care so that DHCS can use these scores to issue incentive payments.
