Millions of Californians receiving benefits from state programs may be impacted. Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Division

Allocations

The California Department of Public Health's Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Division receives funding from the state budget and from the federal government to disburse to local health-related entities and others to promote better health of all mothers and children in California. Amounts pending California Budget Act for the reported fiscal year.

Once allocated, MCAH proceeds to gather applicatons from local health jurisdictions and community-based organizations.
