The California Medical Monitoring Project (CA-MMP) is a public health initiative designed to learn more about the experiences and needs of people who are living with HIV. It is conducted by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
CDPH has been a part of the project since 2006 and is one of 23 state or local health departments that conducts MMP nationwide, who are seeking to learn more about the health-related experiences and needs of people who are living with HIV in California.
