× The federal government has shut down due to the failures of the President and Congress to continue government funding. Millions of Californians receiving benefits from state programs may be impacted. For now, California’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) will continue to provide services and enroll eligible families as long as funding is available. No new federal funding to California WIC will be provided until the President and Congress take action. Families should continue to use their WIC benefits and attend their WIC appointments. The purpose of this Request for Application (RFA) is to fund five (5) Statewide Coordinating Center grants for the following priority populations: 1) African American/Black; 2) Asian American/Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander; 3) Latino; 4) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, or Questioning (LGBTQ+); and 5) Rural communities. 


Solicitation CG 22-10403 Empowering Local Communities to End the Tobacco Epidemic

The purpose of this RFA is to fund up to 25 local projects to build momentum toward ending California's tobacco epidemic through policy, systems, and environmental change strategies and increasing community engagement in these strategies within populations that have been disproportionally targeted by the tobacco industry, including the following population groups: African American/Black; Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI); Latino; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer or Questioning (LGBTQ+).
